What is a hydraulic compression moulding press?
It is a hydraulic press that closes a heated mould on a charge of material (SMC, BMC, rubber, felt) and holds controlled pressure and temperature while the part cures or forms. Parallelism, pressure control and platen temperature uniformity decide the part quality.
What tonnage do I need for SMC moulding?
As a rule of thumb SMC needs roughly 150–300 kg/cm² of projected part area. Share your part drawing and we will calculate the exact tonnage, daylight and bed size for you.
Can you provide heated platens and cure recipes?
Yes — platens up to 250°C with multi-zone control, and PLC recipe storage for time, pressure and temperature per part. Operators select the part number and the press runs the stored cure cycle.
Do you build presses with moving bolster for mould change?
Yes. Our moving bolster platform (proven at 250 ton, built up to 1000 ton) rolls the bed out of the press for safe crane loading of heavy moulds.
What is the delivery time?
Typically a few weeks to a few months ex-Chakan Pune depending on tonnage and customisation — far faster than imported presses, with same-week service support from Pune.
